American Airlines Is Building a New Admirals Club in Nashville — Nearly Three Times the Size of the Current One
AA announced a new 17,400 sq ft Admirals Club at BNA — nearly 3x the current size, outdoor terraces, airfield views, construction starting 2027.
American Airlines announced yesterday that a new Admirals Club is coming to Nashville International Airport, slated for BNA's new Concourse A. At approximately 17,400 square feet, it will be the largest airline lounge in Nashville airport and nearly three times the size of the existing Admirals Club space in Concourse C.
Construction is targeted to begin in 2027, with plans for the current Concourse C space to remain open during that time.
What's Being Built
The new Admirals Club will sit in Concourse A. It's planned features include airfield views from outdoor terraces as well as an indoor balcony overlooking the concourse. The size of the space is little surprise considering Nashville is one of the fastest-growing airports in the country, having handled around 23 million passengers in 2024.
The design is described as inspired by Nashville's culture and Tennessee's natural landscapes. One thing that won't change is the existing lounge's celebrity guitar tradition. Lounge team members collect autographs from artists and celebrities passing through the Admirals Club each year and donate the guitar to a nonprofit.
Final Thoughts
AA has been expanding and renovating its Admirals Club footprint recently as the race continues among US carriers to offer a more premium experience. The Austin Bergstrom lounge announced earlier this year will be the first in the Admirals Club network with an outdoor terrace. Chicago will also be seeing a new lounge, in the G gates, that follows AA's newest lounge design language. And now the Nashville location is adding a second outdoor terrace to the system, along with an indoor balcony, as they look to stand out at BNA.

For AAdvantage members, the existing Concourse C lounge will remain open in the interim. If you're flying through BNA and hold a qualifying Admirals Club membership, a co-branded credit card, or oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status on an eligible international itinerary, access is unchanged.
