Hyatt Extended Stay Offer: Up to 50K Bonus Points
Register for World of Hyatt's extended stay offer: 5,000 bonus points per 5-night stay at Hyatt House or Hyatt Studios through December 2026.
Hyatt's extended stay promotion runs through the end of 2026. It offers 5,000 bonus points per qualifying 5-night stay at Hyatt House and Hyatt Studios, for a total of up to 50,000 points total. Here's what to know before registering.
World of Hyatt is running an extended stay promotion through December 31, 2026 that's worth considering for if you have any multi-night travel coming up.
TLDR: register, then stay five or more consecutive nights at a Hyatt House or Hyatt Studios property, to earn 5,000 bonus points. You can do it up to ten times for a total of 50,000 points. Here's how it works.
How It Works
Register first. The promotion doesn't begin automatically. You need to register at hyatt.com/extended-stay-offer before your stay counts. Register now if you think you might have any eligible travel on the horizon.
Qualifying stays: Five or more consecutive nights at the same Hyatt House or Hyatt Studios property are eligible. Again the stay has to be completed after you've registered and before December 31, 2026.
The bonus: 5,000 World of Hyatt bonus points per qualifying stay, up to a maximum of 50,000 points across ten stays during the promo period.
Eligible rates: Both standard paid rates and free night award redemptions both count. If you're sitting on free night certificates those nights will count toward this promotion.
Why This Is Worth Paying Attention to Right Now
The timing matters. We've covered two major World of Hyatt developments recently - the award chart devaluation and the Chase Sapphire Preferred transfer ratio dropping from 1:1 to 1,000:750. Both of those made Hyatt points more expensive to acquire for many travelers.
While this doesn't close that gap entirely, this generous promo in some ways acts as a counterweight to that. If you have work travel coming up that's putting you in one place for five or more nights, booking a Hyatt House and registering for this promotion is a straightforward way to earn some extra points.
If you max out the promo for 50,000 World of Hyatt points, you can do quite well. Depending on the property category, that can cover multiple free nights at mid-tier properties or gets a night or two at one of the more premium Hyatt properties. At current point values, it's worth somewhere in the range of $700–1,000 in free night redemptions depending on where you redeem.
The Key Things to Check
Register before you stay.
Consecutive nights at the same property. Splitting five nights across two properties doesn't qualify. It has to be the same hotel.
Bonus points don't count toward elite status. Only base points earned on the stay count toward Globalist, Explorist, or Discoverist qualification. The 5,000 bonus points are redeemable but don't accelerate elite progress.
Points post 2–3 weeks after checkout.
