Alaska Free Wi-Fi Is Live for Atmos Members 2026
Alaska and Hawaiian are rolling out free Starlink Wi-Fi for Atmos Rewards members. Here's how to access it — even if you credit miles to a different program.
Alaska and Hawaiian are rolling out free Wi-Fi for Atmos Rewards members on equipped aircraft starting now, with full rollout by mid-July. Here's what changed, how to get it, and one thing worth knowing if you credit miles elsewhere.
Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines announced today that free inflight Wi-Fi is now available to all Atmos Rewards members on Starlink-equipped aircraft, with the experience becoming standard across all eligible flights by the end of July.
A new onboard portal lets Atmos members sign in and connect automatically, or sign up if they're not already a member. The Wi-Fi itself is complimentary thanks to T-Mobile.
The AA Comparison Is Hard to Ignore
American Airlines did exactly this earlier in the year — free Wi-Fi for AAdvantage members. Alaska is running the same play. Tying free Wi-Fi to Atmos Rewards enrollment is a smart customer acquisition move.

One Thing Worth Knowing If You Credit Miles Elsewhere
If you're an AAdvantage or any other program member who flies Alaska but credits miles elsewhere — you can still access the free Wi-Fi. You just need an Atmos Rewards login, which is separate from where your miles credit.
Sign up for Atmos, use those credentials to log into the inflight portal, and you're connected.
No payments, session limits, or deciding whether a four-hour flight is worth the fee.
My Take
It's nice to see Alaska Airlines making progress with their complimentary Wi-Fi rollout. This is a genuine upgrade to their onboard experience and puts them back in parity with peers like American. I'm excited to check out the internet speeds in practice on my next Alaska flight.
