American Airlines Extends Its Spring Award Deals
American Airlines has extended its Spring Award Deals for AAdvantage members. Book Main Cabin awards starting at just 5,000-7,500 miles for travel between January 12 and February 28, 2026. Booking deadline: November 18, 2025.
American Airlines has extended its Spring Award Deals for AAdvantage members, giving you more time to book Main Cabin awards at some of the lowest redemption rates of the year.

What the Offer Includes
The promotion advertises one-way Main Cabin flights starting at 7,500 miles, but many routes are showing for even less. In my searches, I've found flights pricing out as low as 6,000 miles one way, and some destinations on the deal page even display examples at 5,000 miles.
These rates apply to flights marketed and operated by American Airlines in the Main Cabin for travel between January 12 and February 28, 2026. Taxes and fees are additional.

Travel window: January 12 – February 28, 2026
Eligible flights: American Airlines-operated only
Cabin: Main Cabin
Seats are limited and vary by route, so the lowest mileage prices may not appear on every date or airport pair.

- Go to aa.com/spring-deals
- Select "Book with miles."
- Search one-way or round-trip options within the travel window.
- Use the calendar view to spot dates that show 7,500-mile or lower redemptions.
- Complete your booking directly on American's site.
You can pay the small taxes and fees with any card, but paying with an AAdvantage® Aviator or Citi® AAdvantage card will also earn miles on the purchase portion.

Why This Is Worth a Look
Award pricing on American is fully dynamic now, so seeing awards this low is unusual. Even short-haul routes within the U.S. often run 10,000 to 12,500 miles each way, so finding Main Cabin awards from 6,000 to 7,500 miles is excellent value.
It's also an easy redemption if you have a small balance of miles to use before they expire, or if you want to book a quick trip without committing to premium cabin rates.
